CVS is selling for $30 a disposable video movie camera which stores the data on DVD's. No word yet if its in this area, or how much the cost of developing your DVD at CVS is.
Some guys at Makezine are trying to figure out how to hack it.
And of course, I have a VHS recorder which I can use to tape my Choose-Your_own-Adventure game, and then have someone for 9.95 develop it into a DVD. That is, I mail them my tape, they mail me back a DVD.
Then I download a free movie maker from Microsoft, and I start playing with it.
Then I send a copy to DaveTV or whatever, and see how it flies.
